field trip to DESA CIBEREUM

a couple months ago, my school held a field trip known as 'Bakti Desa'. it's basically a trip where we stay in a villager house, and learn all about them, weather its their daily live, how they socialize, how they get their earning, and stuff.

every class were separated in groups of four, my group consist of me and three of my classmates; Athaya, Adristi, and Sabrina.

we went to the village by public transportation and got to the town hall in the afternoon.
the moment we got to the village we were lead to one of the house. my foster parents earn their living by being the owner of playstation and internet cafe and they were really kind. when we got there they told us to get a rest and sleep, the wife is an excellent cooker, she made some kind of a potato wedges with soy sauce. we helped here and there of course. It tasted extremely good. In the first day we were introduced to other villager and spent the day playing with the kids.

the next day we were woken up in the morning to have breakfast, we drink hot chocolate and eat stuffed tofu, in the balcony while watching the sunrise, it was totally cliche and cool at the same times really, we heard the bird chirping and saw the villagers walked down to their farm.
after that, our teacher gathered us and we had a walk to the farm, we saw how the peasant planted potatoes, cabbage, and other vegetable.

after getting back from the farm, me and my my friend sneaking to a hair salon and got our hair washed, some even had their hair straightened and stuff.

on the afternoon, we cleaned up the village and wen to the kindergarten, we played games and thought the kids many songs.

every evening we went to the mosque and had a prayer together, I guess things like than couldn't be found easily in big cities, where people teach each other without no other intention besides share on their thought and knowledge.

in the third day, we went down to a lake located nearby the village, people called it as 'situ cisanti'. it took almost an hour to get there by walking for about 7 kilometers, actually the track isn't that long but our guide want us to experience having to walk and enjoy the scenery I guess.

after going back from the lake, we started to pack our things and said goodbye to the villagers. our foster parents were crying which made me felt guilty, then all of the kids started to cry along. It was super hectic and crowded.

for short, we got back to our school by public transport.
the trip was something i tend to never forget
