Online public transportation starts to enter it's peak time since 2014, three years after the invention of one of the best online transportation apps in our nation (GOJEK) and still stay on top of Indonesia's costumer favorite until today. Many people especially those who lives in big cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, confirmed that they choose online transportation aside from other transportation because of several factor, including the stressing daily traffic, inability to drive their own vehicle, or the high price of cars and bikes. The other best thing about online transportation is it's  affordable constant price, comfort, and easy operating system. Those were the main reasons why this new invention stay on number one in many citizen choice list for transportation.

Even though there are many benefit we could gain from online transportation, there are several issues which sounds that the government would band this apps from operating. Why? because there are many critical condition that being triggered by this invention. 

there are many times that the conventional public transport pulling up protests against online trans. They stated that their income had been decreasing significantly after people started to choose online transportation to travel place to place.

Besides from that reasons, online transportation has another negative impact for the city. They add heavier traffic to our already super heavy traffic and polluted city. For example, eight people who used to went out from places only use one public transport will have to use eight different cars or bikes to go to the same location.

In conclusion, there are no specific black and white category as where to put this new invention. It wont be 100% good nor 100% bad. So as always, it will given back to the society, the modern society of mainly educated big cities should be able to choose what transportation they are going to use with wise and well consideration.
